Our story
It started with one frustrated tutor
Mentor AI began in 2023 when a former classroom teacher and an AI researcher kept running into the same problem: there was never enough time to give every student the one-on-one help they deserved. The students who could afford private tutors pulled ahead; everyone else fell behind — not for lack of ability, but for lack of patient, personal attention.
So we set out to build a tutor that could be there for anyone, at any hour, with infinite patience. Not a tool that hands out answers, but one that teaches — explaining the why, offering hints, and celebrating the moment something finally clicks.
Today, learners in more than 60 countries study with Mentor every day. We're a small, mission-driven team, and we measure our success by one thing: whether you walk away understanding more than you did before.
