Classes & WODs

Every session at the Forge is coached, scaled, and built to push you. Here's exactly what each class involves, who it's for, and what to expect when you walk in.

CrossFit WOD

The daily Workout of the Day β€” our flagship class. Constantly varied functional movements blending weightlifting, gymnastics, and monostructural conditioning. A coached warm-up, a strength or skill piece, then the metcon that earns the chalk on your hands.

What to expect: A full hour of coaching, a whiteboard brief, and a scaled option for every movement so you compete with yesterday's self, not the person next to you.

Barbell Strength

Pure, programmed strength work. We cycle the back squat, front squat, deadlift, bench, and overhead press through structured periodization so the numbers on the bar actually climb week over week. No guessing β€” every block has a plan.

What to expect: Lower reps, heavier loads, and longer rest. Coaches set your working percentages and dial in technique under load so you build strength without breaking down.

HIIT Conditioning

Short, savage intervals designed to build your engine. Rowers, bike ergs, assault runners, and bodyweight movements stacked into work-to-rest blocks that spike your heart rate and keep your metabolism firing long after you rack the equipment.

What to expect: Sweat, a stopwatch, and zero barbell technique to overthink. Show up, empty the tank, and leave smiling. Perfect on days you want pure conditioning.

Olympic Lifting

Technical coaching on the snatch and the clean & jerk β€” the most athletic lifts in the gym. We break the lifts into positions, drill them relentlessly, then load the bar so you move heavy weight fast with confidence and control.

What to expect: Lots of empty-bar and PVC drilling, video feedback, and patient progressions. Whether you're chasing a competition total or just want to clean better in WODs, this is the class.

Gymnastics & Skills

The bodyweight side of CrossFit β€” pull-ups, muscle-ups, handstands, toes-to-bar, and rope climbs. We build the strength, mobility, and skill progressions that unlock the movements that gate so many workouts.

What to expect: Drills, scaled progressions, and accessory strength work. You'll leave with a clear path from your first kipping pull-up to your first bar muscle-up.

Mobility & Recovery

The session that keeps you training for decades, not months. Guided stretching, breathing, banded work, and soft-tissue release to undo the stiffness, restore range of motion, and prime you to lift heavier and move cleaner.

What to expect: A calmer pace, a lot of foam roller, and real attention to the hips, shoulders, and ankles that limit your lifts. The smartest 45 minutes in your week.
