The Grandview began life in 1911 as a private riverside manor, known for the lavish summer parties hosted on its lawns. When the Hartley family acquired the estate in 1998, they saw something rare: a place that already knew how to celebrate.
After a two-year restoration that preserved the original ballroom and added our garden pavilion, The Grandview opened its doors as a dedicated event venue. More than 1,400 weddings, galas and corporate events later, we remain family-owned and fiercely devoted to the craft of hosting.
Today, three generations of the Hartley family and a team of seasoned planners carry that founding spirit forward — one celebration at a time.
Historic architecture, manicured gardens and river views — every corner of the estate has a part to play.
Our restored 1911 manor anchors the estate, with the original Riverside Ballroom and its hand-restored crystal chandeliers.
Twelve acres of formal gardens, a rose pergola and a riverside lawn — ceremonies framed by nature in every season.
Two full on-site kitchens let our culinary team serve plated dinners for 600 without ever compromising on freshness.
Warm, experienced and endlessly organised — the team you'll come to trust.
