Our story
From a farmers' market stall to your front door
Verde Market began in 2016 as a single weekend stall run by two friends who were tired of seeing beautiful, just-picked produce go to waste while shoppers paid a premium for week-old fruit trucked in from across the country.
We started by connecting a handful of nearby organic growers with neighbours who wanted real food. Word spread fast. Today we work with more than 60 local farms and deliver thousands of baskets every week — but we still buy the way we always have: seasonally, locally, and only from growers we trust.
