The human behind the doodles

I'm an illustrator who believes color is a love language. Here's a little about how I got here and how I like to work.

My story

From crayon scribbles to commissioned color

Hi, I'm Doodle — though my parents call me by my given name. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, filling the margins of every notebook with characters, creatures, and cities that only existed in my head.

I studied illustration, spent a few years at a design studio learning how to turn ideas into deliverables, and then went solo in 2018. Since then I've drawn for magazines, startups, toy brands, and a surprising number of coffee shops who wanted a wall worth photographing.

My favorite projects are the ones where a client trusts me with a feeling — "make it feel cozy," "make it feel brave" — and lets me translate it into shapes and color. That's the whole job, really.

My style & tools

Warm, bold, and a little bit playful

My work leans into rounded shapes, confident outlines, and palettes that feel like a sunny afternoon. I draw both digitally and by hand, and I love mixing textures so nothing feels too perfect.
