Serene began with one therapist, one candlelit room, and a simple belief: that genuine rest is not a luxury but a necessity. Our founder, Mara Lindqvist, returned from years of studying traditional bodywork across Scandinavia and Southeast Asia determined to create a space that felt less like a clinic and more like a deep exhale.
Word spread quietly, the way good things do. Today Serene welcomes thousands of guests each year, yet we have never lost the intimacy of that first small room — every visit is still personal, unhurried and entirely yours.
