Our story
Founded on a craftsman’s obsession
Chronos began in 1987 in a small atelier in the Jura mountains, where our founder — a third-generation watchmaker — set out to build timepieces that would still be running a century later. He was tired of disposable design and shortcuts you could feel on the wrist.
That conviction still drives us. We have grown from a one-bench workshop into a maison of master watchmakers, but we have kept the founder’s rule: every movement is regulated by hand, and every watch leaves only when it is right.
Today our timepieces are worn in more than forty countries, from the boardroom to the deep sea. What unites our collectors is a love of mechanical beauty — and the patience to own something made to last.
Craftsmanship
Made the slow way, on purpose
Every Chronos timepiece is the product of patience. Our watchmakers chamfer bridges by hand, bevel each edge until it catches the light, and regulate movements across five positions before a case is ever closed.
Swiss movements
Self-winding calibres with up to 72 hours of power reserve.
Sapphire & steel
Scratch-resistant crystal and 316L cases, finished by hand.
Tested twice
Each watch is timed and water-tested before it leaves the atelier.
