Treatments built around your recovery

Every body and every injury is different. We tailor a combination of these evidence-based treatments to get you moving freely and confidently again.

Sports Injury Treatment

Whether you're a weekend warrior or a competitive athlete, we treat acute and overuse injuries — sprains, strains, tendinopathies, and stress injuries. Treatment focuses on reducing pain and swelling early, then rebuilding the strength and control needed for a safe, lasting return to sport.

  • Injury triage
  • Sports taping
  • Return-to-sport testing
  • Load management

Manual Therapy

Skilled, hands-on treatment is at the heart of what we do. Through joint mobilisation, soft-tissue release, and therapeutic massage, we ease stiffness, reduce pain, and restore your natural range of movement — creating the window your body needs to start healing.

  • Joint mobilisation
  • Soft-tissue release
  • Myofascial work
  • Trigger-point therapy

Rehabilitation & Exercise Therapy

Lasting recovery is built on movement. We design progressive, individualised exercise programmes that rebuild strength, mobility, balance, and confidence. You'll always understand the "why" behind each exercise, with a clear plan you can continue between visits.

  • Strength programming
  • Balance & control
  • Home exercise plan
  • Progress tracking

Dry Needling

A precise technique using fine, sterile needles to release tight, overactive muscles and trigger points. Dry needling can reduce muscular pain, improve flexibility, and speed recovery — and pairs powerfully with manual therapy and exercise.

  • Trigger-point release
  • Pain reduction
  • Single-use needles
  • Combined care

Posture & Ergonomic Correction

Long hours at a desk or behind the wheel take their toll. We assess your posture and daily habits, then build a correction plan — combining manual therapy, targeted exercise, and practical workstation advice — to relieve neck, shoulder, and lower-back strain for good.

  • Postural assessment
  • Workstation setup
  • Corrective exercise
  • Habit coaching

Post-Surgery Rehabilitation

After orthopaedic surgery, structured rehab makes the difference between a good outcome and a great one. From ACL reconstructions to joint replacements and rotator-cuff repairs, we guide you through each phase of recovery in close coordination with your surgeon.

  • Post-op protocols
  • Scar & swelling care
  • Phased loading
  • Surgeon liaison

Spinal & Back Care

Back and neck pain is one of the most common reasons people stop moving. We combine spinal mobilisation, core retraining, and education to relieve pain from conditions like sciatica, disc irritation, and chronic lower-back stiffness — and keep it from coming back.

  • Spinal mobilisation
  • Core stability
  • Sciatica care
  • Pain education

Geriatric & Mobility Therapy

Staying strong, steady, and independent matters at every age. Our gentle, progressive programmes improve balance, reduce fall risk, and manage arthritis and joint pain — helping you keep doing the everyday things that matter most.

  • Balance training
  • Fall prevention
  • Arthritis care
  • Mobility support

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a doctor's referral to book?

No referral is needed to see one of our physiotherapists. You can book an initial assessment directly. If you're using certain insurance or extended health plans, your provider may ask for a referral for reimbursement — we're happy to help you check.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing you can move in, and bring any relevant scans, reports, or referral letters. Arrive a few minutes early so we can complete a short intake form before your assessment begins.

How long does each session last?

Your initial assessment runs about 45–60 minutes so we can be thorough. Follow-up treatment sessions are typically 30–45 minutes, depending on your plan and the treatments involved.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds. Many patients feel meaningful relief within 3–6 sessions, while post-surgical or chronic cases may take longer. We'll give you an honest estimate after your assessment and review progress regularly.

Does dry needling hurt?

Most people feel only a small prick as the needle enters, sometimes followed by a brief muscle twitch or ache. The needles are very fine and single-use. Your physiotherapist will always explain the technique and gain your consent before starting.

Do you accept insurance?

We work with most major extended health and private insurance plans. Coverage varies, so we recommend confirming your physiotherapy benefits with your provider. Our front desk can provide detailed receipts for claims.

Not sure which treatment is right for you?

Start with an assessment. We'll diagnose the cause and recommend the right combination of treatments for your goals.
