Our story

From one fourplex to thousands of units

Keystone started in 2009 when our founders, both rental owners themselves, grew tired of management companies that were slow to answer, quick to invoice, and impossible to get a straight number from. They decided to build the company they wished they could hire.

We began managing a single fourplex in Portland. Word spread among owners who valued plain communication and properties that stayed full. Today we manage more than 3,200 units across the Pacific Northwest — and we still answer the phone.

Our growth has never changed the founding rule: treat every owner's property, and every tenant's home, the way we'd want ours treated.
